The name, "Alemaari" in Kannada translates to a wanderer who explores without a fixed path, embodying the spirit of adventure and the desire to discover the unknown. "Adhyaya," a Sanskrit word, translates to a chapter or a significant segment in a larger narrative.

The eighth edition of Alemaari Adhyaya for 2025 is here! August felt like the mountains playing hide and seek — with sudden rains, clear skies, and surprises at every turn. Valley of Flowers continued to bloom with fresh stories, while Ladakh treks opened up vast new horizons for Nomads.
Closer home, weekend treks added their own magic, reminding us that adventure doesn’t always need distance. This edition captures those little joys, shifting skies, and the unforgettable rhythm of August in the outdoors.

May was a month of summits, stories, and stirring moments from solo trekkers in their 70s walking into the Himalayas with heart, to our very own guide Chatur Man Rai taking the TrekNomads flag to the top of Everest.We explored beloved routes like Annapurna Base Camp and Kuduremukha, welcomed new Nomads, reunited with old ones, and strengthened our ties with the mountains.
